ABOUT THE NEW ISSUE OF THE "FAR EASTERN PHILOLOGICAL JOURNAL"

Abstract

Dear readers and authors, we are pleased to present you the third, autumn, issue of our magazine. It opens with a section dedicated to the anniversary and memory of the famous scientist - linguist, historian of the English language, specialist in the field of intercultural communication, Doctor of Philology, Professor Maria Grigorievna Lebedko (09/14/1943–02/12/2022). This September marked the 80th anniversary of the birth of Maria Grigorievna Lebedko. A talented teacher, a wonderful lecturer, a real philologist, Maria Grigorievna took a sincere interest in the scientific work of both aspiring linguists and literary scholars. She had an amazingly bright ability to verbally support young scientists, instilling confidence in achieving their goals, sharing her own enthusiasm. The anniversary section of the journal includes articles on various topics by students, colleagues of Maria Grigorievna and a new generation of researchers whose mentors were her students.
