LITERARY RECEPTION OF F. G. LORCA’S “ANDALUSIAN TRILOGY“ IN SPAIN AND RUSSIA

The article is devoted to the review of literary reception of Garcia Lorca's “Andalusian trilogy” – the plays “Blood Wedding” (1933), “Yerma” (1934), and “The House of Bernarda Alba” (1936) in Spain and Russia. The paper seeks to identify the main directions in the study of these dramas in the works of Russian and Spanish researchers. The peculiarities of the reception of Lorca's dramaturgy from the first publications of the 1930s to modern studies are successively considered, and the peculiarities of the literary perception of the trilogy in Spain and Russia are revealed. The analysis of works of Russian and Spanish literary critics led to the problem of translation reception of ancient and folkloric traditions in F. G. Lorca's “Andalusian trilogy” in Russia.
