The chronicle outlines the main directions of the reports presented at the Second International Scientific Conference “Harmony and Algebra of Text: Philology, Semiotics, Analytics”, held on January 27–28, 2025, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Oriental Institute in the Russian Far East. A brief overview of the work of the plenary sessions, linguistic and literary sections reveals the special role of the Eastern vector in scientific research, the attention of
linguists and literary scholars to a wide range of problems: from the “digital centrality” of modern text, the place of artificial intelligence in communication to understanding the phenomenon of ”text” as the foundation of traditional cultural meanings and ethical values and an important tool for intercultural dialogue. The conference became a space for active presentation of modern scientific areas of text analysis and interaction between researchers from Russia and foreign countries.
