Сorrections and retractions policy

If errors or violations of publication ethics are identified in published materials, the editorial board of the Humanities Research in the Russian Far East will take appropriate measures in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Association of Science Editors and Publishers (ASEP) Ethics Council and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):

 1. Article Corrections

Minor errors that affect the quality or interpretation of a scientific article but do not alter its main conclusions will be corrected through a published correction notice in the journal's next issue.

2. Article Retractions

The retraction procedure will be applied when compelling evidence is found that a published article contains:
– significant errors undermining the reliability of the authors' conclusions;
– plagiarism, data falsification, fabrication, or other violations of publication ethics;
– content violating the legislation of the Russian Federation.
Retraction may also occur if the article is found to have been duplicated in multiple publications.
A retraction may be initiated by the author(s), the editorial board, or third-party complainants. The Editor-in-Chief's decision to retract must be preceded by an expert review and discussion of its results at an editorial board meeting.
The digital version of a retracted article will be marked with "Retracted" and the retraction date. Similar markings indicating the reasons for retraction will be added to the article's metadata and the relevant issue's table of contents. A retraction notice will be published in the journal's next issue. Information about the retraction will be sent to all Russian and international databases where the journal is indexed.
