Abstract

The article is devoted to various forms of help that the rural population of Stalingrad Oblast provided to the Red Army during the Battle of Stalingrad. The study is based on the memoirs of veterans and eyewitnesses of military events
and materials from the periodical press. The author concludes that the efforts of civilians (mostly of unoccupied districts) during the period of hostilities contributed to the speedy defeat of the enemy.
