The article attempts to reveal the issue of moral integrity in the writings of John
Chrysostom, one of the most famous authors of the golden age of Christian
writing. Focusing on the written legacy of the famous Byzantine preacher, the
author reveals the works in which the main attention is paid to the spiritual and
moral aspects of human personality. The analysis of the recurring motives in
them allows deducing a «recipe» for achieving moral integrity, which constitutes
the core of the thinker’s moral concept.
