Methodological features of Nikolay Bogolyubov’s concept of the philosophy of religion

The article is devoted to the methodological features of the philosophy of religion as they present in the unfinished work «Philosophy of religion» (1915) by Nikolay Bogolyubov, a representative of Russian theological academies philosophy. The author examines how the philosopher determined the conditions for the formation of the philosophy of religion as a philosophical discipline, how he understood the systematic approach in research practice within this discipline, and what aspects of the religious tradition he saw as key to understanding the nature of religion.
