Transnational approach as a new perspective on modern society

The article is devoted to transnationalism as a relevant methodological approach used in the humanities and social sciences. The main advantage of this approach, according to the authors, is a new look at the increased mobility of individuals in modern world, social space and the processes of movement. The authors give examples of the use of transnationalism in foreign studies, and characterize the strengths and weaknesses of this methodological strategy.
