New media is developing and growing in the context of "One Belt, One
Road", e-commerce and live streaming are flourishing, big data and "Internet+" are flooding everyone's life. The "One Belt, One Road" strategy is a huge historical opportunity
and challenge for all foreign language talents, and the new media and big data era have
put forward new requirements for cross-border e-commerce talents. Facing the new situation of cross-border trade, cross-border e-commerce and e-commerce logistics development, and the change of employment demand of enterprises, colleges and universities can
cultivate innovative and applied talents by deepening the curriculum of this major, joint
training of interdisciplinary majors and cooperation between schools and enterprises, and
continuously explore the ways and means of cultivating cross-border e-commerce talents
under the background of new media by providing a wide social service platform for enterprises, so as to improve the comprehensive ability and employment competitiveness of
composite cross-border e-commerce applied talents. This paper takes cross-border ecommerce of agricultural products as an example, and discusses how to help foreign language students adapt to the new situation and understand new knowledge in the teaching
process in the context of new media.
