Designing of the wooden historic vessel

Abstract

The article presents the experience of designing a wooden historical vessel according to the Rules of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The characteristics of the set of the vessel were determined, the mass and coordinates of the center of gravity of the wooden hull and the vessel as a whole were calculated, calculations were made on the statics and dynamics of the vessel, the minimum freeboard was checked, structural drawings, drawings of the general location, the propeller, as well as a capacity plan were built. The results of the work are supposed to be used as part of the design documentation of the vessel to obtain the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class.
