Using of pedestrian bridges to create multi-level recreations

The article deals with the problems of the cities recreational system development associated with a high environmental load on green areas and an increase in the efficiency of the central regions using. One of the means of solving these problems is the creation of multi-level recreation using bridge structures. Based on a review of the pedestrian bridges design experience using for organizing recreational routes, was proposed the typology of their design and planning solutions, the main and additional set of recreational functions. An analysis of the use of various types of structures and technologies for their construction in certain urban and landscape situations makes it possible to identify the patterns of their choice.
