Author Guidelines

The journal is intended for graduate students, candidates and doctors of technical sciences, as well as for undergraduates engaged in scientific research and practical developments related to engineering and construction areas of knowledge: technology, engineering, etc., as well as the search for new technologies in the application to the construction industry and architecture.

The documents. 1. Adopted in your university (organization) expert opinion on the possibility publications in the open press. In FEFU, this conclusion can be obtained through Directum (see document templates at the link on the main page of the journal. 2. Signed agreement (copyright): a scan can be sent by e-mail along with the article, the form is on the main page of the journal.

The journal publishes: scientific articles (together with illustrations) up to 1 printed sheet (40,000 characters with spaces), the advantage is scientific reviews. Reviews of scientific publications are also accepted - no more than 1-4 pages. The journal does not publish polemical articles (disagreement with the results presented in the articles of other journals).

All submissions are accepted throughout the year. The editors reserve the right to select them and refuse to publish them. Publication decision accepted by the editorial board within three months from the date of receipt of the manuscript. The journal accepts articles in Russian and English (if there is an adequate translation).

Theme, direction. Submitted articles must correspond to the direction of the journal - specialties according to the classification of the Higher Attestation Commission and the corresponding headings of the "Bulletin ...".

Plagiarism. The editors of the journal check articles for uniqueness using Anti-plagiarism. Before sending the article to the editors, you can independently check your work on http://www.antiplagiat.ru Borrowing more than 15–20% (even if the service shows that these are borrowings from your previous works) are not allowed. Anti-plagiarism results: from 95% - excellent uniqueness; from 90% - good; after 80% - not accepted (exception - reviews).

Reviewing. All articles are subject to mandatory independent peer review. As reviewers are one or two doctors or candidates of sciences, known as specialists in this direction, having publications on the subject of the article for the last 3 years and the level citations (RSCI, WoS, Scopus). The names of the reviewers are not disclosed (blind peer review).

Conflict of interests. The author, reviewer or editor must report a conflict interests (financial, in personal relationships, with an organization or other person, etc.), which interferes with impartial perception, review, decision-making on publication research results.

The authors of articles are responsible for their content and for the fact of publication. The editorial board of the journal is not responsible to the authors and / or third parties and organizations for possible damage caused by the publication of the article. The editors have the right to withdraw an already published article if it turns out that in the process of its publication someone's rights or generally accepted norms of scientific ethics were violated. The editors inform the author who submitted the article, the specialists who gave recommendations, and the organization where the work was carried out about the fact of the withdrawal of the article.

Refusal to publish. The editors have the right to refuse publication to the author if, while working on article in the "Herald of IS FEFU" (reviewing or editing), it was published in another journal. In this case, the editors will not accept other articles by this author for a year or two. The publication of an article in the Bulletin of the FEFU School of Engineering does not exclude its publication in other magazines, including those published in traditional printed form. If such a publication is made without significant changes, then a reference is made to the Bulletin of the FEFU School of Engineering as the primary source. The journal does not accept for publication works published earlier in other journals.

Payment. Publication of articles is free for authors, and access to the journal is free for users. The editors do not receive registered and valuable letters and parcels.
