Rules for submitting manuscripts

As a rule, works that have not been previously published in Russian-language publications are accepted for publication in the journal. The submission by the author/authors of the manuscript to the editorial office of the journal is considered as the conclusion of an oral agreement on the transfer to the publisher of the right to use their work (clause 2; art. 1286; Civil Code of the Russian Federation) in printed and electronic form. Acceptance of a manuscript for publication implies a free, perpetual transfer by the author/authors of the text of the non-exclusive copyright of the editors. By submitting manuscripts to the editors of the journal, the authors thereby confirm their agreement with the principles of publication ethics of the publication and the procedures for processing manuscripts. When working with manuscripts, the editors proceed from the existence of several genres of scientific texts: 1) a scientific article, 2) a report on the work of a round table / scientific seminar, 3) a scientific review, 4) publication of a historical source and a scientific commentary to it, 5) a report on a scientific event. The division into genres pursues the goal of improving the scientific examination of manuscripts and a differentiated approach to texts for various purposes. In general, the editors distinguish the genre of a scientific article and the genre of scientific materials (with subgenres; see below). In an effort to improve the research practice of the scientific community, the editors understand a scientific article as a report on a logically completed study of a cognitive problem, carried out through the application of the scientific method. Accordingly, a characteristic feature of a scientific article is its methodological and methodological saturation, the features of which are a) a clear description of the object, subject, goals and objectives of the study, b) discussion and assessment of the factual and methodological and methodological basis of the study, c) generalization and conclusions. It is these four features that underlie the distinction between "articles" and "materials" in the practice of editorial work. Materials include the following sub-genres: Materials of the round table / seminar - a transcript or author's materials of a scientific discussion of an actual cognitive problem; scientific review - a critical review of the publication, revealing its content and assessing its cognitive value; scientific commentary on a historical source - a text accompanying the publication of a document, setting its historical context, explaining the necessary details (events and personalities mentioned in it, etc.), assessing the document as a source for the cognitive problems indicated in the commentary; Scientific event report - a brief overview of one or more scientific events (conferences, seminars, etc.), including the author's meaningful opinion about the significance of these events for the development of a field of knowledge. Manuscripts of articles and scientific reports are subject to scientific review. Manuscripts of other materials are subject to editorial examination for compliance with the thematic profile of the journal and scientific and educational relevance. Manuscripts are subject to editorial selection and review. Manuscripts that do not correspond to the content and thematic profile of the journal, editorial requirements for design and completeness are not considered. Manuscripts of articles are published in the order they are received by the editors. The editors of the journal reserve the right to shorten and edit manuscripts of articles, as well as to transfer their publication to one of the next issues. Articles of members of the editorial board of the journal, and then articles of graduate students and doctoral students have the right to priority publication. One author (individually and in co-authorship) cannot publish more than two articles in the journal during a calendar year. The share of borrowings from previous publications of the author in the manuscript sent by him to the journal cannot exceed 25%. The fee for the publication of articles is not charged, the fee is not paid. Author's copies are not sent to nonresident authors.
