Abstract

This article examines the linguistic and stylistic means of creating the individual author's style of Kawabata Yasunari in the novel "Snow Country". The study identified linguistic means (primarily lexical) involved in the figurativespeech concretization and participating in the implementation of the author's aesthetic task, as well as a description of the stylistic means of expression used by the author to realize the aesthetic intention. The research method is linguostylistic with the use of methods of contextological and semantic-stylistic analysis.
