Abstract

The article analyzes materials from the Chinese press, devoted to the Russian revolutionary events in 1917, which have not been introduced into scientific circulation in Russian historiography yet, and is based on a frontal study of publications in the Chinese periodical press. It reveals the intense coverage of the revolutionary events in Russia, shows the changes in the sources of information. The conclusion is made about the importance of publications in the periodical press for studying the attitude of Chinese society towards events taking place in Russia and China's political responses, which were also reflected in the Chinese press.
