Interpretation of the Japanese Literature Plots in Context of Professional Training of an Actor (based on the educational project-2021 at the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts)

The article presents the author's methodology of professionally-riented foreign languages teaching at the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts. The participant observation of pre-acting students' professional and linguistic competences developing is carried out within creative educational project, including Preparatory, Analytical, Production, and Post-Production Phases. The educational theatre making activities include discussions of articles in theory and history of literature and arts written in English and Russian languages. Names of Osanai Kaoru, Mihara Shiro, Nakamoto Nobuyuki, Mitzua Morii and other great representatives of art and culture of Japan are part of educational projects in context of professional training of an actor. Vocabulary and Grammar exercises, professionally-oriented and personally meaningful creative assignments based on the plot and themes of Ariyoshi Tamao's autobiographical novel imply the analysis of experienced directors' explications, professional actors' notes, and academic articles devoted to the history, theory and terminology of theatre.
