Abstract

This paper examines the main trends characterizing educational migration from Mongolia to Canada. The data of international and national statistics of the United Nations, UNESCO, the Government of Canada, etc. were used as the main research tools. Mongolian migrants in Canada are one of the fastest growing groups of foreign migrants. Although Canada is not yet a popular destination for Mongolian citizens in terms of higher education, improving English language skills, it has high potential in this regard. Educational migration from Mongolia to Canada is associated with
further employment prospects and professional self-realization.
