Abstract

This article analyzes the process of formation of the Korean diaspora in the United States. Its stages and their content are specified. The informational basis of this work is the analysis of the sociological surveys of leading
American research centers, statistics, academic articles, as well as official documents on the studied issues. The main characteristics and features of the modern socio-economic and political status of the American Koreans are revealed.
