Abstract

The study sought to define and analyze the peculiarities of Modern Japanese literature representative authors images’ introduction in manga "Bungou Stray Dogs" by Asagiri Kafka and the role of that images in further development of interest in Japanese culture and literature. The purpose of the study was to describe typical images of Japanese literature authors represented in the manga and to determine their educational impact. Theoretical methods of research included analysis of the historical, sociological, culturological and philological literature on the subject. The results show that a certain connection can be established between introduction of Japanese literature authors images in "Bungou Stray Dogs" and further development of interest in their prototypes and Japanese literature history.
