Abstract

The article is devoted to the Far Eastern period of the life of Boris Leonidovich Tageev (1871–1938), a Russian and Soviet writer, orientalist and journalist. The scandalous reputation of the writer became the main reason why his biography still remains poorly studied. This article became possible due to the availability of previously unavailable documents from the collection of the Russian State Historical Archive of the Far East (Vladivostok).
