Abstract

This article is an attempt to summarize the genre-forming features of memoirs identified by researches and to consider their implementation on the example of memoirs by Sands Hall "Flunk. Start: Reclaiming My Decade Lost in Scientology", with using of the methods of linguistic and stylistic analysis of the text.
