This article addresses the challenges of developing
small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the
Irkutsk region during the economic reorientation of
the Russian Federation. In particular, it highlights
the significance and contribution of the development
of SMEs to the economy of the Irkutsk region from
2010 to 2023. Additionally, it identifies the problems
faced by SMEs in the region and proposes solutions
through government support methods.
