Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of main approaches to the study of paremias in functional paradigm. The paper aims to establish such a definition that would reflect all the complexity and multidimensional nature of paremias as one of the main methodological categories of philological disciplines. The article analyzes specific aspects of the paremias functioning from the positions of different approaches.
