PECULIARITIES OF PHONETIC VARIATION IN ENGLISH-KOREAN BILINGUALISM

The article addresses the issue of the Korean variety of the English language. Special attention is paid to prosodic transfer appearing in contact of English and Korean. Such peculiarities as syllable structure, phrasal accentuation and speech rhythm in realization by Koreans beyond their linguistic environment are under review.
