Abstract

Within the frameworks of Gérard Genette’s “bovariarism” term the article encompasses the oniric experience of the literary protagonist, where the so-called ‘bovariarism’ is an intrinsic constituent of this sort of experience. The sample for analysis is the script of the film “Gemma Bovery” by Anne Fontaine. The movie under the postmodernity tradition covers both fictional heroines of “Madame Bovary” and “Anna Karenina”. The epistemological hero’s naming process as well as the poetonym specifics are analyzed in both foreign and Russian philosophy of the Name.
