THE USE OF PRECEDENT TEXTS AS ONE OF THE METHODS OF LINGUO-CREATIVITY (BY THE MATERIAL OF NEWSPAPER HEADLINES OF THE PRIMORSKY KRAI).

Abstract

This article is devoted to the consideration of one of the methods for creating a linguo-creative title – the use of precedent text. The basis of the mechanism of linguistic creativity is the transformation of the original word, phrase or sentence, which allows the author to achieve semantic "conciseness", polysemy and at the same time achieve a certain pragmatic effect. The purpose of the article is to analyze the functioning of precedent texts on the previously undescribed material of newspaper headlines in Primorsky Krai, to present the types of precedent texts, to describe the ways of their transformation and to identify the functions of this linguistic creativity technique.
