Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the explicitly expressed image of the sky in the book of poems "Silent Songs" by I.F. Annensky. This image is an important component of the poet's worldview. The article examines the role and functions of the image in structuring individual poems, as well as the collection of poems as an aesthetic whole. To clarify the author's understanding of this image, the authors conduct a comparative analysis of I.F. Annensky's poems "May" and "July" with F.I. Tyutchev's poems "Day and Night" and "Spring Storm".
