On the issue of the genre identity of Internet communication: communication block "post – comment"

Abstract

The wide variety of communication practices in the World Wide Web is due to the active development of online genre studies, whose tasks include describing virtual genres and searching for criteria for their classification. This study is devoted to identifying the genre features of online texts such as posts and comments. Taking into account the dialogic nature of the post, we consider it in a communicative block with a comment representing various types of reactions to the post. Based on the illocutionary parameter, we identify several variations of posts and comments to them. The regional specificity of the analyzed texts is considered as one of the genre-forming features. Addressing the problem of genre, which marks regional linguistic consciousness, corresponds to the principles of integral genre studies that are currently relevant.
