The Importance of the Japanese Worldview Understanding for Successful Japanese Learning (Based on the Textbook “An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese”)

The article considers the typical difficulties that arise when learning the Japanese language, ways to overcome them by doing lexical analysis, researching the peculiarities of the mentality, worldview, and customs of the Japanese. Expediency of linguistic and cultural approach to teaching the Japanese language to improve students’ motivation for learning, to develop their communication skills is substantiated.
