Information Content Representation of the Concept TAIGA in the Novel by S.M. Salinsky “Birds Return to Dreams”

The article examines the linguistic representation of the information content of the concept TAIGA in the novel by S.M. Salinsky “Birds return to dreams”. The semantic structure is revealed, which includes such components as “the animal world of the taiga”, “man in the taiga”, “the
flora of the taiga”, “water bodies”, “mountain objects”, “spirits and mythological inhabitants of the taiga”. The typical linguistic means of identified components’ representation are analyzed. The regional specificity of the concept TAIGA representation in the Far Eastern text is noted.
