Abstract

Zoonotic helminthiases are widespread. In this regard, the aim of the work is to demonstrate an unusual clinical case of parasitic invasion of intestinal and extraintestinal localization, occurring under the guise of viral hepatitis, in a child. Clinical and laboratory observation revealed an atypical onset of the disease with hyperthermia, yellowing of the skin with an increase in the activity of liver enzymes and determination of Ig class G to toxocara and ascaris against the background of mild iron deficiency anemia. In our observation, we managed to achieve rapid recovery of liver function. Hyperfermentemia was stopped within two weeks from the moment the patient was admitted to the hospital. 20 days after the onset of the disease, a clear improvement in well-being was observed, which allowed the patient to be discharged for outpatient follow-up treatment.
