COUNTERING JUVENILE DELINQUENCY: THE EXPERIENCE OF RUSSIA AND CHINA

The article provides a comparative analysis of the directions and results of state policy in the field of combating crime and other antisocial activities of minors on the example of Russia and China. The state of crime in these countries is of particular concern. The number of violent and mercenary crimes committed by minors in China and Russia is constantly growing. In addition, the trend of rejuvenation of juvenile delinquency and group delinquency of minors is becoming widespread. Methods of committing criminal assaults by minors are also being improved. To create an effective system of countering juvenile delinquency requires the adoption of a whole range of measures that take into account the criminological, sociological aspects of their implementation, the basics of psychology and criminal law. The appeal to the practice of legal regulation of these relations in the PRC is aimed at identifying positive experience in countering juvenile delinquency, preventing the involvement of these persons in criminal and other antisocial activities. In turn, in the future, the positive experience can be used by the domestic legislator in determining the directions of the state policy in the field of combating juvenile delinquency, preventing the involvement of minors in criminal and other antisocial activities.
