Abstract

The article examines the role of judicial practice in the legal system of the Russian Federation, conducts a legal analysis of the powers of the bodies of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, highlights the lack of a hierarchy of interpretive acts in the structure of the bodies of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, provides examples that confirm the relevance of the issues under consideration. The authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to reform the legislation on the judicial system of the Russian Federation in terms of fixing the impossibility of interpreting legislative acts by the courts in a sense that contradicts the explanations on judicial practice given in the acts of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Such changes will make it possible to achieve a more reasonable use of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the current domestic system of law in law enforcement practice.
