Analysis of the real results of foreign trade relations, the dynamics of export-import for Tuvan-Mongolian flows during 2011– 2021 years revealed a negative export balance. But foreign trade between Tuva and Mongolia has a positive trend, while the size of trade turnover is insignificant. So alternate trade between Tuva and Mongolia is becoming a factor in the economic development of the border republic. Today the major part in exports and imports are food industry stock, animal feed, flour and cereals industry products, malt, plastics and plastic products, knitted clothing and accessories, hats and their parts. The main goods exported from Tuva are food products, food industry stock, animal feed, and plastic goods. The main goods imported into the region are consumer goods. Traditional border trade is developing between Tuva and Mongolia, allowing the population to obtain cheaper goods and services.
