Abstract

Natural healing resources determine the development of the resort industry, which, in turn, cannot exist in isolation from tourism. In Buryatia, there are two large resorts "Goryachinsk" and "Arshan", offering a variety of resort and recreational services that are in demand among vacationers. The needs of visiting citizens in resort treatment and rehabilitation were studied. It is shown that the majority of respondents visit the resorts every year, the average duration of rest in the resorts of Goryachinsk and Arshan is 2-3 days. It has been established that the main purpose of visiting resorts for most people of working age and for pensioners is the need for treatment.
