Обзор результатов научной конференции «Миграционные процессы в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе: миграция и международное сотрудничество в целях устойчивого развития»

Аннотация

On May 13–14, 2025, the School of Economics and Management of the Far Eastern Federal University hosted the V Scientific Conference with International Participation “Migration Processes in the Asia-Pacific Region: Migration and International Cooperation for Sustainable Development”. The reports present an analysis of the documents that determine the content of the demographic policy, as well as the conceptual approaches underlying it; Overview of the Asia-Pacific labor market; an overview of the activities of Rossotrudnichestvo, as well as key documents on the basis of which the state policy is being implemented in relation to Russian compatriots living abroad. The report on emerging migration trends presents the origins of the phenomenon of “digital nomads” and highlights different types of migration policies in relation to digital nomadism. In the current situation, the Far Eastern Federal University is developing the "eastern vector" of cooperation in the field of science and education with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. One of the most significant achievements of FEFU's international activities is the creation of foreign representative offices. Chinese and Russian universities perform three key functions: improves the quality of education; optimizes the regional educational education of the two countries. Also, the development of international training courses with an emphasis on international cooperation, a strict quality standard that ensures the formation of professional competencies and the development of skills for effective work in the international space. The discussions between specialists from different sciences held during the conference made it possible to comprehensively consider the key problems in the field of migration management. In the results of the conference, it was noted that the research presented by the authors in the reports can form the basis of social policy, international cooperation programs and innovative pedagogical approaches.
