Abstract

The author analyzes the current state of parliamentary political parties' images over the past five years by comparing the parties' images through comparison of their activity during the pre-election periods in 2016 and 2021.The article provides a brief explanation of the factors influencing the image of parliamentary political parties during the electoral campaigns of 2016 and 2021. The main sources of research are surveys and expert assessments regarding the perception of political parties in society based on political myths and stereotypes, as well as pre-election programs analyzed in the article to understand the ideological context and to understand how relevant the attachment to the ideological context is for Russian parliamentary political parties in modern political conditions. The conclusions of this work can be useful for research in the field of political (political manipulation, political image-making) and social research.
